What this site is

Palm Beach Happy Hour is an editorial guide. We research venues, publish their happy hours, hours and specials as we understand them, and recommend places to go and places to watch a game. We are not affiliated with the venues we list, we don’t take reservations, and we don’t sell food, drinks or tickets. Nothing on the site is an offer from a venue.

Information can change — confirm before you go

Hours, happy-hour windows, prices, menus and which game a bar has on all change, often without notice, and sometimes faster than we can update the listing. We verify listings as best we can and note when we last did, but we cannot guarantee that anything on the site is accurate at the moment you read it. A recommendation that a venue is good for watching a game is an editorial opinion; it is not a promise that a particular game will be shown, that the sound will be on, or that a room will have space. The only reliable check is to contact the venue before heading out.

Alcohol and responsibility

The site describes bars and drink specials. You must be of legal drinking age to purchase or consume alcohol, which in Florida is 21. Please drink responsibly and never drive after drinking. Whether to serve anyone is always the venue’s decision, not ours.

Content you submit

Where the site lets you submit content — a photo of a venue, a caption, a correction, a listing request — the following applies:

• You must own the content or have the right to share it, and it must not include anyone who would not reasonably expect to appear in it.
• You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and adapt the content on the site and in our channels, for as long as we use it, with the credit you choose to provide. You keep ownership.
• We review submissions before publishing and may decline, edit, crop or remove any submission at any time, for any reason, without notice.
• You will not submit content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or that impersonates someone else.
• If you want something you submitted taken down, email us and we will remove it promptly.

Sponsored content

Parts of the site, such as our sports and game-day pages, may be presented by a sponsor. When that happens we say so clearly on the page, and sponsored links are marked as such. Sponsorship does not change our venue recommendations, which remain editorial. We are never the operator of any sponsor’s product or service; if a sponsor offers wagering, gaming or any other regulated product, its own terms, age restrictions and responsible-use resources apply, and you should read them.

Using the site

You agree not to:

• scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the site’s content or listings for use elsewhere;
• interfere with the site’s operation, security or other people’s use of it;
• use automated means to submit content or flood our forms;
• misrepresent your identity or your relationship to a venue.

Our content

The writing, photography we produce, design and organisation of the site belong to Palm Beach Happy Hour or our licensors. Venue names, logos and marks belong to their owners and are used to identify them. You may share links to the site freely and quote short excerpts with attribution; please ask before reusing more than that.

Third-party sites and services

The site links to venues, maps, ride services and other third parties, and uses third-party services to run. We don’t control those sites or services and aren’t responsible for their content, availability or practices. Our Privacy Policy lists the services we use.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Palm Beach Happy Hour and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information on the site or from your visit to any venue, and our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case these apply to the extent permitted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top tells you when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
