Waterfront restaurants, raw bars, cocktail rooms, and craft beer across the inlet, downtown, and Congress Ave
Boynton Beach packs an unusually wide map into a coastal town — the working marina at the inlet anchors a cluster of waterfront restaurants, downtown holds a raw bar with the most legible happy hour in the county, and the Congress Ave corridor adds Italian, Asian fusion, and an award-winning brewery off High Ridge. Ten distinct rooms across waterfront, raw bar, craft cocktails, live music, sushi, Italian, and craft beer — most run a real happy hour, and the ones that don’t are still worth knowing.
Best happy hour spots in Boynton Beach, FL including the Boynton Harbor Marina, downtown E Ocean Ave, S Federal Hwy, and the N Congress Ave corridor. Live updates on drinks, food, seafood, live music, and craft beer.
The Boynton Harbor Marina is the heart of the waterfront happy hour scene. Banana Boat has anchored the Intracoastal since 1978 — a long bar-only happy hour Mon–Sat 3–7 PM, live music on rotation, and a covered dockside patio that handles the after-work crowd. A few steps away, Two Georges Waterfront Grille has been the thatched-roof seafood fixture for 60 years; HH runs Mon–Fri 3–6 PM at the bar, the dockside seating is the table to want, and big screens at the bar pull in the game-day crowd. South of the marina, Prime Catch runs a daily Mon–Fri 3–6 PM HH at indoor and outdoor bars — $2 off all wines, beers, and cocktails — with Prime Island sitting literally in the Intracoastal Waterway.
Hurricane Alley is the downtown raw bar that publishes its happy hour with actual prices — Tue–Fri 3–6 PM brings dozen raw oysters for $15, dozen steamed clams for $14, wells $4, and the namesake Alley Ale at $3.50. Closed Mondays. From June through December, a seasonal Sunday HH (2–6 PM) adds slightly different pricing — worth knowing once summer hits.
A few blocks south on Federal Hwy, Driftwood is the chef-driven cocktail and small-plates room with a Wed–Sun 4–6 PM HH and bookings via Tock — closed Mon–Tue, otherwise the destination move for a serious dinner. Sweetwater is Florida’s first whiskey bar, on South Federal — opens at 5 PM, runs to midnight Sun–Thu and 2 AM Fri–Sat, and built for the after-dinner crowd. The Bungalow Bar & Grill sits in downtown Boynton with live music Thursday through Saturday at 7 PM and weekend brunch (Sat–Sun 12–4 PM) with bottomless mimosas — the casual neighborhood spot with a real performance calendar.
Boynton’s other anchor is the N Congress Ave corridor, with two distinct dining identities and a brewery off High Ridge. Agliolio Italian Bistro & Bar runs a daily 3–6 PM HH alongside scratch-cooked pasta and a wine-forward bar — open every day 11:30 AM–10 PM. Across the corridor, Lemongrass Asian Bistro is the polished sushi and Asian fusion room with OpenTable reservations, full lunch and dinner service every day. A short drive west of I-95, Copperpoint Brewing Company is the award-winning craft brewery — fresh beer on tap, rotating food trucks parked outside, and an industrial-park taproom built for groups.
